Press Release 2021-02-02
The 8th China International Silver Industry Exhibition (SIC Expo) will be held at Poly World Trade Center in Guangzhou from November 15th to 17th, 2021, and will focus on market demand for elderly care, the latest in policy and development trends, and the unrivaled business opportunities of the silver industry.
The 14th Five-Year Plan will boost high-quality development in China's silver industry.
January 2021 marked the launch of the 14th Five-Year Plan, which is key to China's rebooting of high-quality development in the elderly care industry post-pandemic.
According to the "China Development Report 2020: Development Trends and Policies on China's Aging Population" released by the China Development Foundation, it is estimated that by 2025, when the 14th Five-Year Plan is complete, there will be more than 210 million people aged 65 and above, accounting for about 15% of the total population. The aging process in China will only accelerate.
The rapidly aging population, changes to the structure of elderly groups, and a series of frequently introduced and favorable policies will create tremendous opportunities and challenges for the development of China's elderly care industry and the careers in it. Deep integration of elderly care with the modern service and manufacturing industries will become a significant trend.
SIC 2021 will continue to closely follow-up with current policy and industry trends, further expand coverage of the industrial chain, comprehensively promote the integration and interaction of cross-industry resources, promote a more liberalized market as well as fairer competition, a better system and enhanced service in the senior care industry, and help the latest generation of senior care participants catch up, thereby creating a better future.
Seven Highlights of SIC 2021
Authoritative Senior Care Platform to Help Enhance Brand Value
For eight consecutive years, SIC has continuously explored the edge of innovation in the senior care industry, attracting the likes of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, National Health and Welfare Commission, National Council on Aging, as well as provincial and municipal civil affairs and health agencies, the disabled persons’ federation and other government departments to in-depth discussions. As an annual event covering the whole senior care industry chain, SIC is an excellent platform for enterprises to enhance their influence and industry visibility.
Global Brands and Industrial Trend
SIC brings together over 350 well-known domestic and international senior care brands from nearly 20 countries and regions, including Japan, Denmark, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. In 2020, many international companies overcame the difficulties resulting from the epidemic and brought their latest products and services to the expo to showcase their latest achievements in senior care.
Zhao Zehui, Chairman of Everbright Senior Healthcare
SIC is quite good and helps us increase our brand awareness, which was our primary goal. Through research demonstrations and exchanges at the expo, we now have a clearer idea of our future development.
Guo Wanyi, President, Bravat (China) Bathroom Supplies Co., Ltd.
Many professional visitors came to our booth for consultation, which made us feel that the environment at SIC is extremely professional. This exhibition has made us more confident in entering the senior care industry.
Wei Lei, Sales Director of Jingda (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.
The SIC exhibition area has been dazzlingly planned for this year, and participating companies are the most powerful in the industry. I believe both exhibitors and visitors can gain something.
As always, SIC 2021 will set up seven different zones. These include barrier-free living, smart elderly care, elderly care services, featured services for aging, rehabilitation equipment and therapy, health and wellness, and an international pavilion. Special zones for hearing and speech rehabilitation, residence senior care and China's longevity towns will also be set up, focusing on comprehensive technology and applications in the silver industry chain.
Sharing the Achievements in Technology with Smart Elderly Care
SIC this year is focusing on the “digital divide" facing the elderly, as well as how to enable the elderly to more easily take advantage of information technology, and at the same time give them a stronger sense of security and greater satisfaction in the value of their care. SIC will actively exert its abilities to coordinate resource integration to hold a Smart Senior Care Product Design and Application Competition, collecting and promoting the design and application of digital and high-tech products in senior care, life care, and other senior care scenarios. It will further vitalize the market and accelerate the deepening integration of high-tech and senior care industries.
Precise Buyer Solicitation to Expand Business Opportunities in Senior Care
Through its strong brand influence, SIC has attracted more than 50,000 professional visitors, including provincial and municipal civil affairs delegations, health care committee delegations, senior care institutions, medical rehabilitation institutions, senior care real estate developers, property companies, distributors, e-commerce businesses, scientific research institutions, industry associations, etc., providing enterprises with one-stop precise matching and market opportunities against the backdrop of international and domestic "dual circulation”.
Online and offline promotion to build a network of elderly care
SIC holds a number of offline communication activities, such as civil affairs matching meetings, assistive device exchange meetings, community silver hair festivals, and a series of high-quality online live training courses. These resources help stretch the influence of the exhibition beyond its 3-day time period and space limitations and provide interactive business matching opportunities for industry all year round, acting as an efficient source from which to obtain social networking resources.
Live online events
Concurrent forums with high-end dialogues between senior care experts
During the exhibition, more than 20 high-quality forums with diversified themes, rich content and various featured highlights will be held, and more than 150 representatives from government, industry leaders, researchers, and academics will share their brilliant ideas. This year, the SIC brand theme forums will focus on the operation of senior care institutions, senior care real estate, community home care, smart elderly care, senior care rehabilitation, residence senior care, senior care design salon, social work service, and also discuss how technology can empower community senior care, the application of smart senior care in new smart homes for the elderly and other heated topics.
The caregiver skill competition, smart elderly care award, community group purchase, community senior care service matching meeting and other activities will help participants gain insights into industry trends and seize the opportunity brought by senior care.
Multi-dimensional marketing strategy for optimal brand communication
SIC 2021 will create online and offline marketing opportunities for enterprises through the SIC Senior Care Online app, its official website, its WeChat official account, short videos and media publicity, making use of a variety of available online e-commerce and community e-commerce resources.
