Caogougou Scenic Area Located at an altitude of 2,400 meters, Caogougou writes the fairy tale of the "Little Altay" in the northwest with a 95% forest coverage rate. Renowned for its cluster of homestays, it has been designated as a "National Second-Class Tourist Homestay". Covering a total construction area of 3,729.22 square meters, its three major homestay types—meadow homestays, Hua'er homestays, and duplex homestays—have become landmark buildings, attracting numerous tourists for long stays in recent years. During the peak seasons of July and August, visitors from all over flock here, often resulting in fully booked homestays. The man-made lake, also known as Wangyou Lake (Forget-Worry Lake), is as blue and clear as a mirror—unclouded in summer and unfrozen in winter. As its name suggests, it helps people cast aside all troubles. The Colorful Landscape Corridor is composed of nearly 10,000 blooming plants of various colors.
